Though programs at IHTC most often focus on the use of hypnosis for sexual concerns, we also offer professional training in hypnosis methods and techniques, suitable for a variety of wellness challenges. Emphasis includes relaxation and stress reduction, in addition to addressing specific problems such as healthy choices, habit control, self-esteem, and so on.


Intro to Hypnosis is a ten-module course that may be taken in person or online. It includes all material considered necessary for certification as a hypnotist through the NGH, and includes ample research citations and copies of studies. It is suitable for anyone seeking to learn hypnosis skills.

Hypnosis for Community Wellness is a six-module course that is currently being updated, planned for re-introduction Spring, 2026. This course teaches group and self-hypnosis skills to be used for wellness in a learning group to promote family and community health and wellness. Social justice and wellness equity are at the heart of this course. Suitable for general public as well as helping professionals who would like to facilitate a hypnotic wellness group.
